Calling Canada when I am in the USA
It was great to receive a message from Rogers welcoming me to the USA and then slap me in the face by informing me it would cost $1.50 plus tax to call Canada. $1.50 per minute!
So here is the solution I use. Get at AT&T plan for $3.00 per day for unlimited calling in and out to anywhere in the USA from wherever in the USA. Then Signup for MobileMiser’s CallBackConnect service.
I program up to 25 people I call regularly. Home, daughter, business partner etc. I get a Personal Connect Number PCN for each of them at put it into my phone. When I want to call them I dial the PCN from my US phone and I get a busy signal. I did not pay for the call!
